Woman dies in highway crash

A woman was killed on Highway 7/8 and Nafziger Road on Thursday after the westbound car she was a passenger in was struck by an eastbound pick-up truck while attempting to make a left turn onto Nafziger at about 4:20 p.m.
The accident snarled traffic in and around New Hamburg until the highway reopened at 9 [...]

The Klassen family found a nice patch of ice left over from the flood at the bottom of Peterson HIll when they were tobaggoning on New Year’s Day – they quickly went home for their skates and sticks and a shovel to clear the ice. Pictured are Emily, seven and Thomas Klassen, five.
