Holy Family School’s annual Mission Day gets students involved in activities geared toward raising money for a community charity. This year the student-run activities and silent auction raised close to $1,800 last spring and all of the money will go to the Wilmot Family Resource Centre’s various programs. Holy Family principal Kevin Hynes was at the centre today to present a cheque to WFRC executive director Trisha Robinson. WFRC is hard at work collecting food, clothing and toys for its annual Christmas Hamper program, which will distribute approximately 160 hampers to families in Wilmot and Wellesley next month.
