The New Hamburg Lioness Club has grown over the year and the group is pleased that we have added nine new members. Here, new member Cindy Parkin, sponsor Lioness Mary Pfaff, incoming Lions president Scott Mills, new member Gail Sheridan and sponsor Lioness Joan Bilinsky gather at a recent meeting to install the new executive.

Here is the new Lioness executive for the next year, Susan Cressman, Carol Massel, Jenny Neubauer, Tricia Miller, President Mary Pfaff,Joan Bilinsky, Donna Downs-Atkinson, Bobbi Williams, absent Sandy Starr,Ellen Moore, Delores Alexander, Janet Dawson-Brock and Cheryl Ullman.

The Lioness Club for this year was lead by President Sandy Starr assisted by Lioness Mary Pfaff.  The club enjoys working in the community. We have parties for the Aldaview residents and affiliates. We host Blood donor Clinics, have a float in the Santa Parade.  Our major fund raiser is the Tree of Light assisted by the New Hamburg Lions. In the spring we either have had a Fashion Show at the Waterlot or Welcome Home Tour. We sell Daffodils and run the food booth at the Interfaith Silent Auction.
We have a lot of fun at our meetings and always welcome new members.
This year we have been able to donate back to the community over $10,000.00. Our club has served the community since 1980 when we were sponsored by the New Hamburg Lions. We assist the Lions in many of their projects.
Aside from serving, being a Lioness develops long standing friendships and personal satisfaction of knowing that the time spent has served to make our community a better place.
