Waterloo-Oxford Crusaders triumph 48-41 over Cameron Heights in senior boys basketball

Waterloo-Oxford’s senior boys basketball team won a close game on Feb. 9, 48-41 over Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute.

After a slow first half where both teams missed many shots, the game was tied 17-17 at halftime. The Crusaders picked up the pace and outscored the Golden Gaels the rest of the way.

Chris Thomson led all scorers with 19 points.

After 12 games, both Waterloo-Oxford and Cameron Heights have a 6-6 record, and sit in a four-way tie for eighth place in the league.
