The trophy was presented by Commissioner and Registrar of the New Hamburg Scouting Group Garry Gibbons to Legion president Bob Anger on April 26.
The plaque has the Boy Scouts logo at the top and the 1st New Hamburg Crest along with the Legion crest at the bottom.
The legion took over sponsorship of the Scouting group in 1959 from the New Hamburg Board of Trade.

Most people don’t know that Baden and New Hamburg groups have joined together to form the 1st New Hamburg Scouting Group. They’re looking for leaders for the coming year, male or female, to lead the pack as Akela.

Anyone interested to contact Group Commissioner Garry Gibbons at 519-662-1502. Training is available but they need volunteers immediately.
