Dude Looks Like A Lady

Dude Looks Like A Lady

Derek Leis and Carlo Montagnese of the New Hamburg CIBC branch weren’t generating any cat calls from passersby during their lunch hour cross-dressing adventure on Huron Street on Thursday. The pair were part of the bank’s annual “Dude Looks Like A Lady” fundraising barbecue for CIBC’s Run for the Cure charity drive for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Family Fun Night at Holy Family School

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Holy Family’s first Family Fun Night on June 21 saw approximately 500 people come out in support of the school and students.
The evening started outside and quickly moved indoors once the rain began.
We had wonderful carnival events that were hosted  by the Grade 7 and 8s.
Special guest included the New Hamburg Fire Department, Waterloo Regional Police, the owner of the Promod Corvette π mile race car Al Hinds, the Halton Conservation Association’s Mountsberg Educational Programs.

The school thanks the entire community for their support. All of the children and parents had an memorable time.
