The Waterloo Region District School Board will break ground Tuesday on Sir Adam Beck Public School in Baden.
A sod-turning ceremony scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at 1140 Snyder’s Road West, just east of Waterloo-Oxford District Secondary School will mark the official start of construction on the new JK to Grade 6 school. Scheduled to open in September 2010, the school will accommodate approximately 450 students.
Sir Adam Beck was born in Baden and went on to found the Hydro-Electric Power Commission of Ontario.
